Never really been sweated for it. I think most cops wouldn't notice that. They're usually too busy looking at the exhaust to see if it's "ticketable".

i have been doing odd jobs and working on cars at the shop just to get by, also i just completed my G.E.D so hopefully having that will open up some new job opportunities so i can get back on track with my life and my cars.
there are actually alot of things i think im going to change on the silver car before it is anywhere near done, but im in no rush, as long as the final outcome is what i have envisioned i dont mind how long it takes.
Props to you bro. All of the "real" people support you.

i have a couple noobie questions, but i've noticed that my cx can't adust the steering column height...or am i just blind. like there is no lil lever thing near the left side of the column as shown in timmy's last pic. is there a way to...make it adujstable? lol

and can someone give me the cliffs note version as to cx vs dx vs si

i know my car doesn't have p/s, power anything (practically), drum brakes in the rear, no moldings, no abs, and a 70hp motor lol

I know how you feel, same thing happened to me. It was too bad for PDR though. But I have had PDR on my Hondas a few times and it isn't cheap. But it's worth it when they're all gone. Stuff like that makes me sick.

Figured i would post the history of my EG's.

First hatch- 93 CX hatch

Hit by a Buick Regal

Second Hatch 92 VX hatch

Hit by F150 running a red light

Third Hatch 92 SI Hatch

Hit by Buick Regal

Fourth Hatch 93 DX

This got Rear ended by a El Camino a week after it got painted, got no pics

Fifth Hatch 92 CX hatch

Hit a 92 Accord after he wasn't paying attention and couldn't stop

Sixth Hatch 92 VX Hatch

Driving up to work ( Work in Arlington VA) had the classic everyone scatter, I was in the left lane, middle lane was full, and the Truck that was tailgating me took the left shoulder, so i tried to stop and it didn't work. Hit a Ford Taurus.

This is the new hatch

Seventh Hatch 93 DX hatch

Yea the dent is about 2" tall by 3" wide right in the middle of the fender. A big rubbermaid tote fell off a shelf and smacked it luckily it had a car cover over it so the paint is ok and there is no crease. If its between $50 and $150 for PDR im cool with that. I just paid for a new OEM bumper+paint this fall to freshen the car up so this should be "cheap" in comparison lol

i remember hearing a couple friends back in the day talking about using "spacers" (probably washers lol) to drop the steering column down to a lower position, but that wouldnt really be adjustable and maybe not safe?

you could most likely swap the steering column for a adjustable one but that seems like alot of work.

i hated mine not being adjustable at first but i got used to it and dont mind it at all now.

Yeah, mines adjustable and its kinda of useless, it moves like 3 inches tops.
