Very nice looking hatch. Damn I need to respray my teal. Anyone know about how much it costs to respray a car? And a good respray not a TJ one.

Man Ive wanted an lsd equipped tranny forever. I might track a small bit but my car is a pure street car. Funny thing is that the tranny cost almost as much as the new hatch I bought.
^once you go LSD, you'll never want to go back to an open diff! i'm quite happy with my OEM one as well, although i've driven some cars with Spoon and Cusco LSD's and those are more aggressive, but sometimes noisy when the gear oil gets old...

The only thing Im nervous about is changing the tranny fluid. On my last transmission I changed it with Honda MTF and after about 50 miles I lost 2nd/4th. Prior to that I never had any problems with my transmission.
that's odd, i've been using the Honda MTF for the past year now (the 'newer' stuff with added friction modifiers) and love it. I just tried some Motul gear oil and it didn't work very well for me as it felt even more 'notchy' going in to 2nd and 4th, even when the tranny was warm from driving. i swapped back out to Honda again and it's much better...i'm thinking maybe it's because my '98 spec is getting older and prefers the thinner Honda stuff?

Did you completely drain yours out? I too used the newer Honda MTF. I just dont want the same occurance happening with this transmission as this one already cost me a grip.
^^Looking good man
LOL thanks man, when i decide to sell them you will be the first to know.

you should be fine with the Honda MTF. especially on a new tranny. fwiw, an OEM USDM ITR tranny complete from Acura is about 1800bux CAD at cost.
