Do any of you guys with duckbills get hassled by the man about not having a 3rd brake light? I'm thinking about getting one, and I want to get a Spoon one, but I was just wondering how you guys have dealt with this.

when i had my GSR i had the oem type r wing with no led, and since it was a gsr with the led int he spoiler it didnt have the 3rd light in the glass. i got pulled over all the tme, plate tickets, muffler tickets, you name it. but never got hassled once for my brake light.


i actually just put a spoon on my car and now that its time for inspection i think im going to hook up a brake light in the housing for the rear wiper motor since i took it out

when i used to have one without a brake light i took it off the stock wing ran it inside and stuck it to the top inside the car with double sided tape. cops never hassle me about it. i even passed the dmv inspections like that no one said anything.
it was like that for 4 years but i eventually got a duckbill with a led brake light on it so i took it off.
i did it on my friends ek also when he got a jun wing that took out the 3rd brake light he never got hassled either.

thanks man, It's a genuine Spoon duckbill, and i fiddled with the mounting surface on it to get it to fit nearly perfect
