yeah im talking about the sideskirts there the wings west. the eg with the cp-r is my boys cousin and there wings west. and the wyldkarz eg ive seen as well also wings west. the only way i can tell is the inside sayes wings west ingraved thats abt it. ive never seen a mugen sideskirt in person
the wings wests are knock offs of the mugens. i was asking how to tell the difference between the real thing and the knock offs?
yeah and im saying that ive never seen real mugen ones i always see the knockoff which is wings west. i tried looking right now for reall sideskirts to compare it and maybe see whats the diff but i cant find any. i just keep seeing some sideskirts with a cut on the side of them
Heres a pic of the real Mugen sides straight from the Mugen EG catalog.
I have some real Mugen sides but I'll have to take some pics of them. From what I can tell the real Mugen sides don't have the little resest area under the door like the Wings West do, or at least not as much. The only real good way to tell the difference would be to put them side by side and compare.

Anyone here know how to replace a rear wiper on the hatch? I got a denso one online for it but its like way bigger and does not look like it would fit at all.
I just searched and looked through a ton of FAQs and the only thing I came up with was grinding the rivet off, but I don't buy that. There has to be some other way. You know Honda techs have done it a million times. It's probably on here somewhere though, has to be.
The rear wiper arm or blade?
The arm simply pulls off with some force. If you mean the blade then, no I dont know. Mine fell off years ago and replaced it with the factory plug

For sure! My buddy got on the freeway and decided to do a little 4th gear ripper to test out the new turbo setup at like 2 in the morning and BAM! every thing went black lol manages to get the car pulled over and he was so pissed he ripped it off and threw it in the bushes. Had to drive 15 miles home at night Ace Ventura style because of the fuct windsheild/roof ahhhh good times lol
I can't stop looking at this '92 DX hatch in Honda Tuning, kind of reminds me of your hatch bigjoeEG6, except it doesn't have side moldings, doesn't have foglights, and has a CF "spoon" spoiler. But the main thing that caught my eye was the 16x7 Work Emotions, and he totally pulls em off. 33 offset, it's sick.
What surprised me though was this guy spent all this money on his hatch, and it looks so clean and everything, then threw on a fake Mugen valve cover? But whatever, it looks good (to those who don't know any better), I'm just picky about certain fake things. It goes ITBs, fake Mugen valve cover, HyTech header. At least he likes function over form, and has a shlew of nice parts to make up for it.
But then again, maybe he just loved the look of a Mugen but wanted to have it on his engine everyday, which is understandable, because they're like $1,000 new and that would suck if it got scratched.

my hood rubs on the edge of my valve cover just enough to smudge the paint. i guess it's from my hasport mounts, cause it didn't rub at all with my factory mounts.

all i know is i would be fvcking livid if i popped my hood and saw my $1k valve cover was scuffed.

Rok Stok - i know what you mean dood. i thought the same thing when i read that issue of Honda Tuning as well. But then again, i don't blame him seeing the cost of the real VC, however, going that far, you might as well go all the way...'gotta pay to play'
hey guys im about to order the broadway mirror from password, and i was wondering which one should i get the convex or the flat one, and if so which size 240 or 270?
Convex = shaped to see more of the blindspots but objects appear to be smaller
240mm = stock size
270mm = 1" bigger
I got a 400mm convex one for $25. i could look into the mirror and see threw the driver and passenger windows.
got mine from www.advancespeedshop.com
