my buddies bone stock GSR has 180k, has been boosted for 20k miles, and makes 425whp. as long as teh compression and tune is good you can roll it no prob.

Ah I see, good info. I might just save up for that once I start earning more money. Yeah the motor is strong though, starts up quick and loves to rev after 3k rpm. The few miles Ive driven it and i start accelerating its almost as if it wants to keep going. Its rev happy

Looks good, rclark. We've got a similar style . . . well I guess most EG's look alike anyway. I'm digging the black moldings but painted handles and mirrors on your car.

 

thanks guys! and i think that sublty makes all the difference with an EG, things like the unpainted moldings and un painted mirror bases... the different combos set the cars apart. it is captiva, great color IMO.

 

Def. Captiva is my favorite OE color. I was kinda sad seeing them shot the silver on my hatch instead of sticking with Captiva.

Yeah, we use those here too.

There not as popular as they were several years ago, but a lot of the EF guys still use them. I was thinking about using one when I had my 90' EF hatch.

Its a good engine for a good price.

 

I thought those swaps were rare over in the US. Something i heard about the US having sohc in stock crx's?

But it's definitely a good choice for me...Can't wait til it's in

 

Yeah our CRX's did not come with DOHC engines and were only offered with SOHC engines.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think ZC engines were ever sold in a vehicle in the US.

We have to get them from other countries like Japan.

Cool, a Benen tri will look good on your car, it will also really help how your car handles too.

My car is about the same, although I got some new goodies for it that I will try to put on soon. Not a whole lot just some minor things.

 

Yeah, got a cheap one now...but that's got to be replaced by the benen tri when swap is done...
