Ha,ha...nah, they are not polished but are in really good shape. I bought the car with them on there and drove on them every day for 3 or 4 years when my hatch was my daily driver.

They are still in really good shape, thats probably the reason I still have them.

 

lol thats kinda like my LS mesh wheels, I bought a DA a while back and the kid purchased the set that was on there new from the dealer a year before I got the car. I sold that integra but couldnt part with the wheels haha

i was debating a set of those in 16" as well. but it was a set of the 'Formula Editions' which i didn't like too much.

i have to admit though, i didn't like the RE30 that much when it first came out a year or 2 ago...but they've grown on me. nice red hatch!

I wanna see some SSR Type F's on an EG. I keep looking at them on tirerack, and can't pull the trigger. Maybe if I get a promotion this summer.

 

i may be getting them...my best friend has an evo 8 white and he wants us to get matching wheels and i wanted to get ce28n's but for an evo its like 4 grand so he said lets get ssr type f's

 

i thought the SSR Type F is nearly the same price as the Volks? :s

LOL, my buddy didn't like the SSR's as much as the CE28's or the Advan RZ. he went with the Advans in the end due to the CE28N Time Attacks being damaged during shipping (and Mackin wouldn't seperate another set to complete his).

He felt the SSR's looked too much like the stock Evo GSR wheel. I remember the quote i got him as well for each of the 3 wheels.

Advan RZ - $770 each
Volk CE28N - $550 each (sema pricing)
SSR Type F - $680 each

All sizing was approximately the same at 19x10-10.5 and 22-25 offset.

i'd love to see the SSR's on some EG's

 

agreed! i'd take those wheels in magnesium blue though.
