Man I wish my transmission wasn't jacked up, have no motivation to pull it out and really wish I could have just hopped in and heard the awesome intake noise of the B16B.

thanks I've had it for almost 5 years and it's had about 9 motors from single cam to b series to k series , get bored easily haha, it's got quite a bit of unnoticeable stuff done to it like power windows and locks, Jdm thin side moldings, Jdm power folding mirrors. Suspension is also all gone through with new bushings and steering parts also. I like the clean and simple look. I miss my old regas I had so now I'm saving for some new wheels for next season

Asking the wrong questions. What mounts you use determines if you have hood clearance issues.

that's true also, I'm running the hasport egk1 mounts with the single mounting position not the one where it has 2 settings and I also relocated my brake booster nipple from the top of the manifold to underneath for more clearance.

Finally got the B16B mostly good to go (have to update LMAs) and the transmission is freshened up and working fine. Car pulls super hard from 7,000 RPM all the way to 9,000RPM and the freshened up brakes and suspension feel so much better than the old worn out stuff. I've had this car 12 years next month, so it's cool to have it back on the road after being down for 22 months.
Here's a little pull video-
