Horsepower is all relative to the dyno/calibration of the dyno. Dynos aren't 100% accurate and are really just a tool for reference. My bone stock LS with stock everything and an E-Bay intake made 129WHP 117TQ on a dynojet. There is no way a stock LS made 129WHP with just an intake.

yeah...dynojets r tyically higher than dyno dynamics...even so, most b16as ive seen r getting high 14x figures on the dynojet here...n 14kgm range

which is why im pretty happy with the results

drove the car for the first time yesterday.....have to say I miss 22kgm hahahaha

unfortunately the car went back in to the workshop last night....engine just dies during normal driving with cel...some wiring issues (which I also suspect is the cause of my b20 going kapow somehow). didnt manage to get the cel code though.

So true. Dyno's are great for tuning since they give immediate feedback on the gains/losses from tuning. But you can't really compare numbers from one dyno to another because they're all different. My 11.5:1, built head with crower stg 2's and plenty of other goodies put down 140whp/120lbft on Lovefab's mustang dyno. The same dyno has had tuned b18c type r's only show ~150whp and my car could walk my friend's b18c coupe and another's wrx swapped 2.5rs. If I were to speak the numbers, you'd just think "meh", but the car acted/felt/drove like it was more realistically putting down 170ish to the wheels.

It's an Acura mdx/rdx (I don't remember which) color. I believe it was called rustic bronze pearl? When it settles. It's actually a very dark brown, almost black, base with a lot of copper colored flake.

 

Whats up everyone been a couple months since ive been on HT, the car is finally almost done, its ready to start right now but decided to switch out the valve springs for some stiffer ones, planning on switching to a custom cam. Here's a pic i took today of the car.

Paint and body is super stright no dents or scratches at all just a little chipped in the front bumper.. But yea needs some tlc.. Needs window moldings and weather strip trip on roof.
