Did a leak down and no bent valves, so pretty pumped about that. The crank pulley bolt is damn near welded on though, we had a two foot long breaker bar on it and all it did was bend the crap out of the breaker.... Used a big impact and it won't break the bolt loose. I'll be towing it to a shop soon with a higher PSI air compressor and see if I can't get this turd back on the road.
I think someone over-torqued it big time and it just doesn't want to come off. Those bolts are made to stretch some, so if it was over-torqued that bad it's going to take some serious leverage to get it out.
I'm going to Lowes today to buy some thick wall steel pipe to see if I can get some more leverage on it. Figured I'd try a little heat too. I also taped up the bottom half of the recess in the crank pulley and filled it up with penetrating oil and motor oil to soak the bolt. If that doesn't work I will have to get it towed somewhere with a 140+ PSI compressor. So frustrating that one damn bolt has been keeping me from driving it....

Thats why I was saying I would have cut the head off the bolt by now. Cutting the head off the bolt relieves the tension and he would be able to remove the pulley and probably be able to unscrew the bolt by hand.
Seems like a better solution to me than risk breaking the bolt off inside the crank. I guess it would be fairly difficult to get in there to cut off though, maybe with a dremmel. Been a while since I looked at my crank pulley.

Don't say that!!!!!!!!!!
There is definitely not enough room in there to do much with the head of the bolt.... If I tried to use a Dremel it would take years to cut through that hardened steel.

The thing with those bolts is its not about leverage but about short hard blasts. Which is what a impact does. Put a breaker bar on it (not a very long one)and smack the handle with a short sledge or heavy hammer.do you have the Honda crankshaft pulley tool?
I have the Honda crank pulley tool and have it jammed up against the frame rail to where it won't move at all. I have a mini sledge and have tried that on a ~one foot breaker bar and that didn't budge it either. Maybe I can try that again before I put the big boy breaker bar on it though.
hey guys........ i need some education on JDM EG6 rear wings...and i need it quick
i wanna install a GT Wing (replica J's Racing wing) and i know that they require the stock wing to be mounted... and my current CF Duckbill aint gonna work with it...
ive found 2 different wings... can anyone tell me which wing is more suitable to mount the GT Wing? or will either one of them work...
FYI, i dont even know if theyre the same wing... or different type of wings (1 pc and 2pc) never really known much about the stock wings.
heres some pictures

Seller 2 (only picture he provided to me)
