one's opinion of the gap is entirely in the eye of the beholder. i personally think it is retarded and draws unnecesary attention...also makes the hood latch bind up. i will cut the skeleton out of a hood before i ever stick washers in the hinge.

what if you had to cut 3 holes in your hood and still gap it?

si-r style cf hood...painted, no skeleton.

what are you putting together that takes that much hacking to get it under the hood?

Maybe some crazy top hat mounts/adjustables shocks. no skeleton? pssh..i rather gap it. even tho i hate gapping the hood. cutting the skeleton out, kinda no point of having a hood right? if your gonna dump all that money into a new hood and cut out the skeleton you might as well throw money in the gutter.....

Wow, all the EF B series swaps that i've done in the past have never rubbed the hood, specially if your runing an SI-R hood.

I still can't understand how you Cali people get away with un-bar'd swaps/doing away with emissions. I've been pulled over and popped a few times for driving normally . Must be the cage and BC Spec II .
