I'm really digging what the EF scene has progressed to over the past few years. Really shocking when you look back at modified EF/ED's back in the 90's and what modded EF/ED's look like now

Well before everyone was doing body kits and whatnot, now everyone is keeping it stock and getting lip kits, rims, and JDM conversions, which is basically keeping it stock, save for the wings west kit which is still popular…I’d love to get a combat body kit but for the route I’m going with my car it’d be a waste

Haha, it's not so much the bodykits and stuff like that. Actually, if done correctly a bodykit can look nice
. It's more or less the majority of half-assing has declined tremendously. Back when I first got my EF like 5 years ago (dang, it's really been that long), a lot of people were half-assing everything from bodykits to building cars to paintjobs, etc. Nowadays it seems like a lot of people are doing things right the first time around and most importantly, innovating
. I hated it when people were doing "high-school" mods like relocated plates to try to make their cars look more "JDM" and leaving their engine stock/interior looking like **** haha.
