Azenis or Advan AO32R/AO48's are the only way to go. Great looking tires. They don't perform all that bad either.

Are these (advan ao32r/ro48) both summer tires or all around tires? I'm looking for a new set of tires for basically winter tires i can drive on and not my summer tires.

what is "ridiculous" is that this debate cannot end w/o a clear photo of the original chargespeed wing.
It is possible that the black wing could be a replica of another chargespeed original. Yet we will never know until someone comes with the proof that the black wing never existed and that chargespeed only made that one particular wing (white). What i dont understand is how the (white wing) if orignal, can be made so poorly where it doesnt fit any car ive seen. Doesnt chargespeed make good products or have we been eating there hype this whole time.

Junkie does have a point..

J's wing = fake chargespeed wing
Password lip= fake chargespeed lip

Yet we all still buy their parts like they were the real thing.

I posted pictures of the Real Chargespeed wing already from my prior car

and do answer your question about poor fitment.
The EF9 trunk is different then the USDM trunk to accomdate for the longer bigger wing.
I found this out when I tried to install a SiR wing on my ZC trunk. It did not fit properly. so my guess is the wing was made for a EF9 trunk and will fit perfectly on one of those.
I had a Chargespeed wing my a USDM trunk which may have made it fit poorly.
but like I was saying
sometime a bad batch of wings may go out stateside which could result in some poor fitments here and there. Chargespeed is a special order wing. Over in Japan they don't make the wing util a order is confirmed and purchased then they go and make it. they may also result in some poor fitment
Maybe I can locate the guy who i sold my wing too because he lives in San Diego and get some pictures side by side of the J's racing and Chargespeed wing

which = a copy of a copy of a original

I went with J's this time around because the wait time on a Chargespeed wing is ridiculous and is in back order, plus I got it for cheap from a homie so it was all good

but the whole debate thing should be settled soon

someone has got to make money
my only point is don't say its real if its not.
thats all I want to clear up

thats almost as bad as people painting Prelude foglights yellow and selling them on eBay as JDM fogs

and there was me thinking my last wheels were mad tite russian DM y0!!!111!!

hmmm, ah well, personally if something looks good with a certain product then i say use it - if it is fake then so be it, dont try and cover it up cos there will always be someone who does know their **** to tell you to expletive off back under your rock

at least all my mad tite parts are real - cos i couldnt be arsed with a JDM Si so im stripping the living **** out of it and using the nice bits for my own

Oh and on a side note - what would ppl be willing to pay for the UKDM VT leather seat covers????

I'm all in on a healthy debate on real or fake on some matter, especially when people are passing off fake stuff as real. I mean this honda-tech and people come here for info correct? Some people come here to be spoon fed info on JDM **** and end up chocking because the stuff they were being fed was bullshit.
I come on here to find out info on motors and stuff because thats something I know nothing about cosmetic good its my line. so I try to help out with what I do know.
Perfect example:
(I only reason why I use this example is becaise I got caught up in it, not disrespect to anyone because they may have not known)
A seller was selling some 15" "rare" 15" wheel w/ tires.
Rather or not if there are I don't know truthfully..but anyway.
The seller was selling the rims for some crazy amount and was quoted to have JDM tires on them.
Someone baught them. I'm pretty sure the buyer did not know they were not what they were claimed to be and when it came time for him to sale them, he had to end up dropping the price because no one else was willing to pay the amount he was asking, which was around the same price he got them for.
So I buy the rims and start my investagation and come to find out they are not what they were claimed to be. Let alone the tires that were deamed JDM tires were not because the plainly had Made in Finland on them along with cracking sidewalls.
Now if I were to be the one who purchased them for a lot i would be pissed but i wasn't because i did some research

thats what I do

These are both R-compound, definitely not for rain or winter. I got 20k miles out of my Azenis on the DC5.

weathertech makes ones for 90-91 civics...
i think it weathertech. i gotta check on it.
Aftermarkets are just as good as OEM honda ones. But if you have a 90-91 civic you won't be able to use the JDM EF9 ones anyway because of fitment and the size of the door

<yawn>

I hope you guys are ready. The end of this Wing debate will be over tomorrow.
Hopefully we can all set aside our differences.
If I'm wrong I'll galdy admit to it and take back everything I said but if I'm right, and the guy selling the wings is someones friend if you could please tell him that he should stop calling them Chargespeed wings when they are indeed not then that would be hella c00l and help save some people from wasting money on something it is not.

there are some links for you dude

i will try and get the genuine Honda part number for you later on as i dont have the discs wih me atm, but in the end you also have to consider that if your doing 80+ mph do you want to put all your faith into 4 little clips just glued onto the back of a visor that probably stands you a fair wack of money - or - would you prefer to just throw them on the car, drive and not have to worry.

I managed to modify mine so the clips aren't gonna spring off in action - basically as i was painting them black anyway (due to a repair) i got some spare bits of plastic and hot knifed them down around the edges of the clips to act almost like a locking mechanism for them - so all going well they wont come off. I dont like using panel tape or sealer to hold them on as i think that takes away from the original idea that they just clip on

If you do get honda ones, i suggest you get down to your local hobby centre and buy a GOOD craft knife or scalpel - cos you will have to modify your window seal to allow them to fit flush again as the clips push them slightly higher than normal

Hope that helps

How wide are your wheels? They fit perfectly, I'd just have mine a tad lower.
