well if you want to be politically correct. Rover motors are not ZC because they do not have it stamped on the motor. You can only call a motor by its stamp which is d16a9.
So if it's a ZC then it should have ZC stamped on it but if its a d16a9 which by the looks of the valve cover it very well might be then it is a d16a9 and not a ZC
so its either a ZC or a d16a9 which is what i was asking.
other then that what you are saying it not really making sense...if I were to be politically correct. </TD></TR></TABLE>

GOOD POINT
so its a d16a8 euro rover engine not zc (still runs strong as ****) im happy with it for now

Could be a euro D16a9 with a rover rocker cover, or a JDM ZC with rover cover.

I thought about that too
but that concept would cause to much confusion and arguments would arise, which would lead to Internet fights and the whole EF sQuad thread would get locked and then I would have wasted my money on EF stickers and then I will have sale my car cuz I would longer have no reason for driving it without having a EF sQaud to represent...
but I think I feel better now

I have to always wanted that motor...just because i was going with the whole EURO them and all plus it would match my trunk and all that jazz but after reading numbers and power comparison to my z6 they are basically the same minus the vtec...i see from your sig you are a anti-vtec guy anyway
