hey is there anywhere you guys recommend buying ground controls from? and you guys were all talking about their sleeve kits right, GC doesnt actually have a full coilover do they? I see JHP has em for like 290, anyone know where I can get em cheaper maybe? I havent shopped for parts from like shops in a while, lol. thanks fellas

TH motorsports just quoted me at 899 for gc's, koni's, and 2 new top hats shipped

anyone have function and form type 1's? they seem pretty cheap, are they any good? they kinda dont seem it but i'd like some opinions if possible?

With the koni/gc's, just shop around between two to three different distributors and see who will quote you the lowest price. I've had good luck with companies outside of California where sales tax was not a factor in price...
4Fmugen, $899 to me sounds reasonable for that package.

i registered on hondacivicwagon.com like two months ago, and still havent gotten anty confirmation. whats with that???

love the new wagos

how bad is it exactly to just cut springs to slam my wago. i have way too many projects to do this summer so i cant afford good suspension untill next year, but i cant roll completly oem this summer, i have to at least lower my wago somehow.

so my question is how long will my shocks last with cut springs?? (at least 4-5 months i hope??? )

i had the same problem.. i then found an admins email and email'd him and i was in the next day. drop him an email with your username hayden@hondacivicwagon.com

as for cut springs.. i have no personal exerience myself.. i also am very poor and can not afford quality coilover set so i just bought an ebay brand adjustable coilover till i can save up for something better.. i got a set for 70usd

well, what about the ebay adjustables then??? i keep hearing the struts will blow out when it is slammed unless you have a full setup that is made to be lowered.

how long have any of you guys been using stock struts and either cut springs, lowering springs, or ebay adjustables and still have a decent ride quality?? (or at least non-blown struts!)

cutting springs on stock struts is not worth doing man, it will ride like ISH! esp. if they have a lot of miles on them, they aint gonna last long. wait it out ot try and find some cheap sleeves

once you have the bug you will stop at nothing til its complete. just remember to upgrade to dc strut forks cause the oem ones wont fit the larger diameter of the eg/dc strut. oem brakes here at the moment
