this is what i ran on my ef hatch & i loved this setup. kyb agx with gc coilover sleeves & modified tophats. this allowed me to slam it without the strut bottuming out.

I've never added oil apart from the transmission, so i don't think the transfer case requires it's own oil. I think a worn input shaft really makes noise when your on and off the gas, as apposed to just remaining loaded.

Hope someone can be more insightful.

thanks for the second opinion, I really think it's input shaft myself...just gotta take it easy until my other tranny is rebuilt, I think the noise is just annoying, but okay to drive on...

how about lowering this thing, if i slam the rt4wd on the stock shocks will they bottom out? this thing is SO i high i have to pretty much jump out of it, LOL..not my steez...

The stock shocks are old. My 89 one's, with coilovers, bottomed out too much especially when slammed.

i've heard some stuff about using either extended top hats OR running a shorter shock, like a shock from an ef hatch or something...anybody have any more info?! oh yeah, bullrider, are your shocks bottoming out or is the CAR bottoming out?

i think the top hat mod is the best way to go teamed up with some nice springs/struts. this would get you the low stance but not slamming your struts. im rockin ksports for the ef with custom spring rates

LIB, no, as soon as I swapped out the oem shocks for kybagx's it got better. Paired up with the Megan co's, it drove, handled and sat nice. Since then, the two rears are already blown. I guess cutting the two (rear) spring perches didn't help matters, but it allowed me to level out...

thanks for all the help guys, it's not the first time i've lowered a honda but it is the FIRST time i have to take my GF (possible wife) driving the car and being comfortable in it into consideration, LOL. My caged, swapped, SLAMMED ef hatch is frowned upon daily between the ride quality and all the noise inside the car, LOL, I gotta make sure I do this right and that is NOT letting the wago turn into another "race car"...

Bullrider, I think you live in my area, maybe one of these days we can meet up so i can see your wag, maybe even catch a ride in it...

I've got more pictures of that pink one I can post up later. I was thinking of making a jdm wagon thread on HCW.
