EEWAGON squad thread
Saw a blue EE down my street today, kind of rusted, but thought of this thread. Even with some rust it was still pimpin. All stock, probably a granny that owns it.
i like it. i would never do it only because everything would get rusty. if i lived in a dryer climate i could pull it off. theres alot of rockabillys that live in milwaukee so i this type of stuff all the time
Rusty hoods are all about "contrast." The "color" of the car has to contrast well with the Rusty "colors" of the hood. That's when it looks good! They're also more appreciated when seen in person. Surfsidewagon wagon pulls it off just right! haaha
cheeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...
So heres a little older pic i didnt post. Took out the whole wiring harness so now theres only the steering column and pedal assembly on the car.

Then i used Aircraft Remover on the whole engine bay to strip it of all paint.

Then i started shaving the bay :D

(after)

I stripped the firewall of all the brakets (Charcoal cannister, Fuel Filter, ect.)
All i have left is to finish sanding down the driver side bay and then i'm shootin the engine bay :D
