That rules man, heck yeah! I would even do it for free for them if they would give me a pass so i could do it. That a way i could get lots of practice
What lens do you normally shoot track days with?
I think my 17-70 or 28-135 would be best

not one. it sucks. im so broke!! I WANNA BUY CAR PARTS!!! haha
i shoot with my 70-300 and thats usually barely zoomed enough from the press locations they give you.

you get used to it really quick. but i suggest having a larrrge card to store photos on.
you figure. 6 or 7 pics of each car(as it passes the corner your at) per lap. about 25 laps per heat. somewhere around 3 heats.
adds up really quick! plus paddock pictures, artistic shots, etc.
but yeah dude. you will get the hang of it right away. just experiment. try not to miss those moments when the cars go off the track.
but just to let you know, it kinda takes away from being at the event itself cause your concentrated on getting that shot.
still an absolutely amazing experience for everytime i have done it.

Photography rule's man, i hope after i get healed ill get good with the camera sense ill be able to move place's. I'm stoked man

I'm tired of taking pictures of my car, i want other cars to shoot but my brothers coupe is not done yet and i'm shooting my friends ITR soon as he gets it back together for this year hpde events. We're gonna try to shoot the photos at the new bluegrass track if they will let us.
