Well this year it'll be impossible, unless I get a giant stroke of luck where I can afford it no problem. I guess I'll try to ship her over for next year as long as all goes well. I'd sacrifice getting more parts for her just for that expirience

Well, you can buy a swap that'll put out 200hp and you can show it on Honda-Tech and you'll get a few thumbs up. A trip like that, you show the pictures to your Grandchildren and look back with a smile

Sounds like Ive been missing out on a good convo...

My family still doesnt understand what it is about this I like. They think it is a waste of time/money. After 6 other Hondas, 6 swaps, and 2 turbo set ups, they just now realized that I do all that to go to the track and have fun with the people that share the same passion as I do.

They think a car is just for A to B end of story. But its not. Your car is an expression of yourself. Plus like you said Lane, it has been something that I think always kept me out of trouble doing other stupid things some of my friends had been doing.

I just wish that I was on the west coast sometimes so I could be more around everyone into this.

The sad thing is that 99.9% of people think of thier cars as appliances, no more worthy of mods, or-god forbid-maintainance than their fridge, or thier toaster. Theyl never understand people like us...... oh well, more mugen for me an you . Oh yeah and about being on the west coast where there actually is a car scene other than rednecks in thier trucks, DITTO!

Thats true. It wouldnt be fun unless it was a pain in the ***! But like you said, not many people are like us. So indeed, MORE MUGEN! Yes...big trucks and 4x4's own the south, so it would be refreshing to have more of a scene. However, on that note, my friend did just finish building his 735whp hatch

damn i missed out on it too... thats what i get for sleeping for 4 hours in the middle of the day!

anways, my dad feels the same way, "a car is only good to get you from point a to b..." when i first thought about going to these meets my parents were like "who are these guys? just people you met online?" after they saw how happy i was coming back from the first meet and seeing the pics, at least my mom understands why im doing this hobby. plus i shot them the same thing lane said, "at least im not doing drugs or crime!" my dad still doesnt really understand but he ALWAYS wants to help me install **** and watch whatever i do to the car to make sure "im not messing up on anything."

o well, all i got to say is thanks to all you guys for keeping me in this game after a few of my local friends got jacked, i thought about selling, but seeing all the new rides and old ones getting better made me want to better mine! id also like to give a shout out to miko, jimmy, and macho! those are the three sols that have made the most difference in my car still not done, but im getting there!
