well I took another large step forward towards getting the sol turbo'd. I bought some RC 310s and IC piping...getting so excited to have a boosted sol

Reminds me of Cody's (Tinker219)

 

All this talk about windows: it's simple 95+ sols (hondas) have factory tint. They look sorta greenish and those "bubbles" you see is because it is tempered glass.

Some late year 94 models may have the factory greenish tint as well.

See the tempered glass in this SLR?

today I met up with a local rhd del sol owner! this is his first honda,and he's kinda ruining the oemness of the car! he slapped a home depot lip over the oem ex one,replaced the 1 piece lights with some ebay ones with a darker housing,and took out the foglights in the bumper to fit his intercooler piping.

however the good news is,he's willing to sell the foglights to me with the harness,brackets and a switch for 200 bucks! talk about a steal. im just not even sure if i want to rock em.

he might even have an extra jdm bumper without the reflector.

not sure exactly...but i know for a while i'll only be in the 160whp (if i'm lucky) because it's a stock internalled d16z6 when i get rods/pistons i'll up the boost beyond 6-8psi, but till then i plan to only stay in that range...my realisyic goal after being built up is only 225-250whp which 310s can accomodate...plus they were really cheap

i completely agree,im not even sure if i want to rock the foglights even with how cheap I can get em.

MY POINT was,why import a rhd del sol if you're gona switch out some of the main parts that set it apart from a del sol like MINE,per say.

however he did mention its his first honda,and he just bought it to get used to rhd till he gets his skyline

i'd pick em up just cuz i love how they look... just shave off the side reflectors because then its just to much ****, on the bumper
