Good luck on the side step hunt...

Yes the Mugen bumper came with different brackets to mount the fog lights onto, but the original brackets can be slightly modified and hodge podged to work... You basically have to flip them upside down and swap them from side to side...

I personally went to Home Depot and bought some flat-stock and drilled holes and bent the metal to work a little better, but they're still not perfect for my tastes...</TD></TR></TABLE>

well john i'm not trying to copy your sol or style but i do love the mugen bumper even more now that i have it and a trial fit on the car . side skirts arent a must on the hunt list but would be nice to complete the set.

I have the one pic of noels with the bumper off to get an idea of how to mount my fogs to make work. i never knew mugen had special brackets for the lighs with the bumper. maybe i should get some ek side skirts to mix it up with the bumper for a lil different flare.

Those side steps are uber rare. Noel has been looking for them for ever. I've never even seen them on another Sol other than Johns.

Please copy my style, I am okay with that. That means there will be many more pretty del Sol's like mine in the world.

I like the EK sides on the del Sol but I have no idea what modifications are required to make them work.

The Holy Grail of del Sol parts if I do say so myself... I consider myself very very fortunate to have been lucky enough for King to find a set laying around the warehouse.

I believe you only have to trim the side skirts 23mm? on one side to have them fit. One of the del sol owners had them on his rhd del sol.

well i wanted carbon but think i'm going to pass on that for a while. but the rare parts are top of the list. not too many left to find. heated side mirrors are next but nothing yet. plus i know some dont like to be copied but yours is so clean it cant be done twice. i love green but i have a different shade in mind. i'm glad your cool with being matched.

OK, lets just say getting original Side Steps, Spoiler, and Bumper would be the Holy Trinity of Mugen del Soliness.

In all honesty, I ain't an expert at anything, but I have to whip out the hammer when I hear something retarded.

See you in a couple of hours, I'm off to an engagement party... someone carry me home please...

I will probably paint over the carbon eventually... I'd really like an Ameripol top though...

Thanks about the cleanliness... They're just car parts, and I'm happy that we all share the same taste... It's that same sense of style that brings us together... I never understood why people got so upset at people "biting" their style... If it's dress, music, cars, art, photography, whatever...

I do understand that many of us use our individual sense of style to present our ideas and suggestivity to the world, but I personally feel that it is how we represent our presentations that defines us... I would much rather people use bits of what I consider to be unique than to go the other direction... It's those similarities and that respect for each others style and taste that make the del Sol community and owners club so unique and worthwhile...

Oh, that, and I hate you all anyways, so what difference does it make?

Lane, I didn't know you had a Mugen strut tower bar! Sweet!

Ownage! Curses, no new pictures. Here's one from each of my last 3 shoots though

Night shot FTL!

On a non-car note; anyone ever catch themselves saying, "For the win" in real life? Haha, I do.
