Thats one of many ideas lurking in my head, the only thing thats for sure, is that my SOHC block will be converted into a coffee table or wine bottle holder. That or I'm going to blow it up.

Thanks for looking out, but I already know of the site and me and the site admin Nikos are friends (he's Greek). The main problem we have isn't reading and understanding, it's the application. Alot of more trivial questions we want answered, but it's the price of it all that doesn't make it appealing.

m4d 3rd g34r D0K v_T4K y0!

She's an odd car, I bet I could go downstairs right now and she'd start. I could replace the starter and put some rad fluid and she'd run, but I don't want to risk the inconvience of it overheating while I'm trying to get somewhere.

I talked with my mechanic seriously, he wants to Kswap it, but it's way out of my budget, and it's something we have no knowledge of how to do. I'm also really worried how low the Oil pan will sit. Greece has really shitty roads.

B16A2 seems to be in the lead, but I'm really set on having a LSD. Good chances are for a B16B, B18C, with a K20A2 getting a 5% chance.

Theres a long way from now till June to figure it out. Oh well. *shrug*</TD></TR></TABLE>

So many options... after driving mine for a 1000km's on the weekend, the b16a2 aint really that bad a motor, it was happy to lug me, the missus and a small suitcase around the north island, just the big hills where I'm not used to chopping it down a cog, I still managed to do 500km's to a tank I think you'll be happy with it (remember mine has no mods, bar a pod filter)

I would (if you could) go a 98spec ITR box, they're a beautiful tranny, especially when your redlining each gear

I've seen it done many times with a V8, I always wanted on, I guess it'll have to be a SOHC though. I think as a table it will be the only time my engine will work on a daily basis without any problems.

The main problem is my budget. My mechanic and I have become close friends, especially since I'm there every other day with another problem (LOL), so he's going to go the extra mile to find me a cheap engine and not charge labour.

Setback, blown engine, gasket (1st time), transmission, crash, gasket (2nd time), ... this sol just doesn't want to work.

At least she looks all purdy with her JDM goodness. hehe. Somehow next week I have to get back to the paint shop for a few touch ups and a little wetsanding. Thats going to be funny trying to get there.
