yes a K will fit in a sol, there was a few people that have already done it. and it is true you cant go "dumped" w/ one because the oilpan sits lower than B series oilpans do.

hey thanks man. i didn't even realize this stuff was posted on here. it sucks pretty bad cause i had just started her up after spending a couple months building the z6. i was only my 2nd night driving it and i only had a 7psi tune for break-in. i never got to enjoy the fruits of my labor with some hard boosting . so yea the car is dead and i don't know if i'm gonna get another one. i'd like to, but there are just so few left in good condition.

Watch Best Motoring or Hot Version DVD's, one has a EK9 with b20 that does 9k, i've seen stock sleeved b20's do that no worries. It's not the crank in b20's that are weak, its the rods and rod/stroke ratio, and people's unknowledgeable/slack approach to tuning</TD></TR></TABLE>hate to be late to the discussion here, but if I started off with a B16A, I would bore it out to 2.0L then go to town on it. Same thing basically as a B20, just stronger sleeves

Wait a minute. I thought all B series had the same bore, and the combustion chamber volume was normally changed by the rod/stroke ratio. That would be stronger, but im probably missing something here.

I'm used to my old muscle car days where boring the **** out of a motor = :****: I think the next car I am gonna build after the sol is a Camaro SS. I've always liked those cars since I was a kid, and there are a lot for sale out here since there's no rust

i like all kinds of cars too, it's just that the Camaro SS owners that i've encountered in my experience are just like SRT-4 owners....unbelievably cocky bastards who think that nothing can touch their cars.

but anyways, looks like i'm not gonna be able to make some progress on the Sol for a couple of months because i just threw alot of money down on another investment. everyone say hi to Kiba!

now i have a "bear" and a "wolf". lol.

For anyone who wants an addicting game. So far I'm at 1 jump, 2 backflips, and 2 loops.
