del Sol thread v 2.0!
Works fine for me...
Otherwise i am not sure if this was the best place to post your question... Not trying to bash on you but for the sake of the forum try and keep it relevant. This is an appearance thread after all.
You guys seem like the crowd to help me out. Im going to look at this sol this weekend and I'm wondering what a reasonable fair price to offer would be. Its the cleanest sol I've seen posted in the area for a while thats for sure....so long as its not all bondo. Anyhow I posted a link below. Thanks for the help guys I'm hoping I can get into the Honda scene soon and this looks like a solid start.
1994 Honda Delsol V-TEC b16a
1994 Honda Delsol V-TEC b16a
I don't know if that's the original engine as from what I recall b16a are JDM engines and the b16a2 for USDM came out in 1996. You might want to look up the VIN number if you can. If it's not the original engine most likely a swap. Also, you could forget about going by blue book values. Book value for that one would be like $1500? I wouldn't doubt if he's asking for double that.

Something to consider. AC, Cruise control, heated mirrors, all these are options not standard. So if those things matter to you look into it.

I had a buddy who sold an R-title, plasti dip painted, Ebay lowering spring, leaky roofed, 200k miles, OG motor, 94 SI for 2k....

If hes telling the truth this car is quite the find. Especially if it is rust free, i am curious to know what he is asking for it? (Don't worry i wont buy it out from under you) if to far away for me to even consider.
I would call that fair, considering the condition of the vehicle. Being as its on the east coast. Your paying for emotional value though not so much the car itself. As stated blue book on these cars is like 1,500$ It really comes down to what the car is worth TO YOU.
79k original miles-I've owned it for 12 years
Matching # D16 v-tech car
House of Kolor 3 stage paint. You name it, it's been upgraded
Never given any thought to the value
Any input?

Nice ride, very clean. Unfortunately highly customized rides like yours wouldn't hold value as much as you would think. But I think the demand would be high for Del Sols. Blue book is useless for our cars. I've seen beat up ones selling for 2 or 3 times what it's worth. You just need to find someone that would be willing to pay. Might be better to part out to get the most money back. Otherwise, see if you could find a sucker that would pay up.
Here's one that is way too much yet someone will end up paying for it

Thanks man-that's kind of what I was thinking. Just wanted to get a few opinions. I'm sure I'd regret it if I sold it...but figured I would see if some true Honda people would be able to put a price on it.
I am so glad you put together your car the way you wanted. I can appreciate the work that has been put into it. It looks like things were done right and not half assed. I really like the trunk set up. Looks good.
