What spoiler is this?

 

do you have experience with other cars in autocross? how do you feel the del sol does on course?
i wanna start autocrossing but idk if i wanna stick with the sol to do it.
Alot of people been telling me its not good in tight cornering, but i dont think they have first hand experience ya know.

 

No this is actually the first time I Autocross and I can tell you that it won't be my last! My Sol actually handled really well. I had been debating as well on autocrossing it after reading and doing research and most of what I found was negative feedback. I wouldn't recommend going ***** to the wall while the car is stock (just incase). I've added bars, reinforcements, and whatever is needed to brace the chassis and feel the car is pretty solid. This is my DD and I consider myself to be an aggressive driver. So far it's taken everything I've dished out at it. I know what you mean about cornering, I love the way it hugs sharp curves and then seeing my gf's expression

hey everybody i finally got my hands on a sol :D i have owned a cb7 accord, 90 prelude, 92 prelude, a couple eg coupes, a swapped 93 si hatch, a 92 all original gsr teg, buuuutttttt have always wanted a sol strictly for the fact in my town u see clean swapped hatch's, lude's, coupe's, teg's, accord's EVERYWHERE!!!!!!! and i personally like to be different rather then tryin to compete with the kids that have tons of careless money to dump into there hatch's.lol so long story short i picked up a 94 del sol S. on the way home i was having regets. the d15b7 poured smoke like a diesel, the exhaust was 2 1/2in straight pipe back to a straight through muffler wich as you sol owners know the sounds will drive u crazy in these cars.lol all the struts were blown, they chopped the stock springs. front end was pushed in about an inch and a half but CLEAN TITLE. rear drivers side quarter is a little rippled and has RUST car had curbed spray painted 17's along with a spray painted black hood.

ive owned this car for two weeks and it has grown on me more then any other car iv owned so heres the progress, not perfect but lookin better u guys are my influences......

couple days later did a temorary white paint job on hood do to not being able to paint in cold wet oregon winter weather. and got a set of blades for her :D

as of tonight i got my 110k gsr swap bolted in, got a steal 0f a deal for 1500$ full swap. also did gsr brakes, sway bar, k member brace, and strut tower bar. just waiting on del sol vtec shift linkage from inlinefour she's moving along at a good rate. please tell me what you all think

 

I don't think you can join anymore per say. They are not allowing any new members, from what I understand, and the group themselves are no longer active on Honda-tech

 

as an outsider, it's funny to see adults bickering about all sorts of issues with something called the del sol owner's club. on paper it looks completely ridiculous.

anyway, enough of the off-topic stuff. if you guys have something personal to hash out, take it to PM.

first off id like to say i joined specifically on this awesome post. I've been looking around and finally found another person who already done it!!! jay that flush mount looks fly. i am interested in purchasing one from you. have you done any with stock 3rd brake light?

I MUST KNOW WHERE YOU GOT YOUR PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS FROM.

I really want to install HID's on my 'Sol, but I was told that using them in chrome housing, without Projector headlights, would just make the light bounce everywhere. - If you have any connections or ebay'ers that you know of that would sell me a pair to fit my '94 DelSol, please notify me!

This is my first post to the forums, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I made an account just for my hopes of finding projectors for my 'Sol.

Oh, and money isn't really an issue, to a certain extent, of course.

Nice green sol afro sheen .that colour grew on me when i had my teg. Im debaiting that green or the original(faded) captiva blue on my sol.

I'd say they are about as rare as any other sol specific part that isn't made any more. No way in hell I'd pay that much for them.

 

They are just hard to find in new/bnib condition as they stopped producing them several years ago. I posted them in here as i am offering a discount on the ending price to HT members. I let the community dictate the price based off the pm's i received regarding the mats.
