Re: del Sol Owner's Club Thread v 2.0!
Spent 2 hours cleaning out the inside of my sol today. Currently front bumper is getting prepped for paint for tomorrow hopefully.

Re: del Sol Owner's Club Thread v 2.0!
Alright guys so help me out here. My sol is swapped with a b16a2, now I've been trying to decide on what intake to get. I am really interested in the password jdm wale *****, however with all the research I've done it seems that it's pretty much **** unless it's tuned for it. Now I would love to get a CAI but I am way to scared about hydrolocking not to mention my car is slammed and my fender lining on the intake side is torn to **** thanks to my wheels. Tell me what should I do? Also if I got a CAI will the actual fitment in the engine compartment be the same? Like do I get the one made for the 99-00 si or the one for a del sol?

if you get a CAI it should be for a del sol vtec....came with a b16 so that would work.... my buddy is running a whale ***** on his b16a with no tune or bolt ons and you can tell a difference.... so i guess whatever one you want you get between those too...also if you get a CAI you can get a water bypass filter to help from hydrolocking but ya

Me?
Haha yeah I know. My Sol was a POS when I first got, so I'm bringing it back to life. I'll touch the engine, suspension, interior, but bodywork is not for me lol.
On the other hand it is getting bodywork done and repainted in a few weeks so thats a good thing. It has some dents on the drivers side mainly and a few on the passenger side. There's like 5 holes in the trunk due to a oversized spoiler that I removed. And the front bumper and rear bumper paint is scratched off in obvious areas.
It'll be looking new again

damn, nice. But the box was actually just picked up yesterday by the people who used to live here. I guess it had a ton of GN stuff in it that they didn't want me to throw out. lol

I finally am starting to pull out of that situation and I just finally bought the last few pieces needed for finishing the turbo setup and doing the engine bay fabrication. after that its pretty damn close to done.
