so in the process of taking off the front bumper to check the lower couplers/piping for boost leaks....everything else seems to check out fine so far

better than mine is right now. Thing runs like ****. I've changed ecu's 3 times, put a new set of plugs in, checked fuel pressure, changed MAP sensors. Thing still runs richer than *****

 

hey how low does everyone's header hang?. mine is super low.. i bottomed out my dc 4-1.. i lacked soo much power.. i just installed some new headers.. and i love the power.. big difference.. but cuz my car is soo low the header is like an inch and a half off the ground.. my buddies were tellin me when they were drivin behind me they can see sparks when im smashin on the freeway.. i think i should raise up my car but damn it looks good dumpped.. ahahha

thank you everyone that has bumped my FS thread... if i can sell this stuff fast enough and a certain set of rims dont sell i might just have me some nice wheels for the sol... but knowing my luck that def wont happen

 

well ***** I hope I may have solved the boost issue.....after the new BOV was installed and the old boost guage put back in it seemed as though the car was building boost about 500-700 RPM later (lag) and didn't feel as strong.

re-checked EVERYTHING I touched, and nothing seemed to obvious at first.

Then I removed the BOV and noticed that I hadnt scraped all of the old gasket off like I thought I had and there was a gouge on the flange going from the port opening to one of the bolt holes. I filed the **** out of the flange to elimnate the gouge and then instead of using the paper gasket that had a tear on it, it was suggested that I just use the high temp silicone. will try it out in the morning hoping that was the issue....IDK what else it could possibly be, all other connections seem fine
