it takes days where all i do is work on the del sol for hours to get all the stuff i plan to do done and the way i want it done

really only do it for myself cause thats the only way i'll be satisfied with the outcome and force myself to figure a lot of stuff out...

but don't get me wrong, i still get a lot of help but eventually i learn from help to do it on my own...somethings i still won't touch and don't trust myself doing

also i've learned if you rely on people too much it holds you back and have to wait, so the other half of why i do things myself is I'm impatient (which isn't always a good thing and sometimes i should def just wait and have it done right )
</TD></TR></TABLE>

i couldnt have said it any better myself. The only things i take my cars in for is tire mounting, body work, and alignmnets, and someday hopefully tuning lol. Screw paying someone for doing something i could do myself. The less money i spend, the more money i have left over for parts.

On that note im off to colorado city to pick up all the sohc parts i need

I don't do paint/body work either, not that its something i've done recently and long overdue for one, but if I had the equiptment and proper set up I'd love to try

same thing with alignment (get them done on the state of the art machine at the honda dealership and my buddy does them for free) and tire mounting (been a while with that too)

and also with welding and tuning, but both have buddies to help me out with those

even if you're getting a favor/hookup for free and don't have to pay for help and not about the money, i'd still rather do it myself so I don't owe anything for something I could do myself and plus I'd rather do it to not rely on them like i said

Nice pics man, been a while since you've posted any

no filler panels though. </TD></TR></TABLE>

use my fillers since i'm missing the fog (still debating about doing it though at all and if so on which side )

put ours together and combine them to get both

black rear panels not on black cars FTW!

I actually have another set of black fillers for sale if you or anyone else is interested

Probably should've said this earlier...

but I think I have an extra **** for the climate control if you're talking about the one for the fan...

...since i don't use or need it

speaking of which, reminds me still considering finishing it up a bit

blacked out ring instead of chrome:

black out climate control ring markings

then maybe put a sticker over it that says "push to start" or "engine start" or etc etc

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by imm0rt41 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">For a second I thought you wanted an OEM shift **** and not the climate control ****. I was actually thinking he was talking about the **** too and was confused...why not just go aftermarket? good thing you realized cause other wise i probalby wouldn't have figure it out...
