Man i can't believe the stupidity of some shop owners. I ordered an oil cap and got a shift ****. So i sent the shift **** back and he then sent the oil cap to the wrong place

 

well i just got home from my trip to maryland might go back tomorrow night for
HIN but i figured i would post some new pics

yup i drove 2 hrs to go get my new (well new to me) daily driver bumper - jdm bumper with the lower fog light holes and no side markers SCORE now just waitin for my front lip to show

Morning ******, very slow lately, what gives?

I think I just had a 1 in a million experience involving a cop and a modified honda...

so I got bored and decided to go for a drive down PCH, stop watch the waves and eat some grub and just clear my head, not realizing the part of PCH I was on has a 10pm curfiew for parking on the side of the road.

As I finish my food I see a big truck coming slowly in the parking/emergency lane where my car was parked(I was leaning on the passenger side door watching the waves just trying to clear my head). suddenly the truck stops about 10 ft away and then I'm blinded by what must've been 8-10 lights total. First thing I hear is how you doing tonight sir? my first thought was WTF....cops?!?! I made a semi-smart *** comment about I was fine until being blinded, the officer kind of chuckled then apoligized and told his partner in the truck to turn off everything but the spotlight. Got the usual interrogation for being noticed by the cops @ 1 in the morning, had anything to drink tonight? smoke any dope? what are you doing out here? blah blah blah.

so after that the officer shines his flashlight on my car my first though "OH ****!!!" then questions me about the exhaust I tell him it's only slightly louder than stock and he shrugs it off. then up to the trunk, and compliments the "unique paint on the trunk" (I just thank him) then he shines the light in the cockpit.....NOW I'M [freak]ED I'm thinking(steering wheel was sitting over the e-brake like it normally is when I park the car)....he suddenly gets a puzzled look on his face and looks back at me and says "Dude, where's your steering wheel bud?" trying to hold in a combination of laughter and fear I tell him it's just sitting in the passneger seat and it goes off and on very easily.....still puzzled but satisfied he looks back in then at me and tells me since I seem like a decent guy and wasn't doing any thing besides trying to think he'll let me go and then complimented my car again.

I can honestly say that that's the first time I've ever had a cop compliment my car and/or be that cool about mods.


on another note:

Ward, just realized where you're from.....shipping would probably rape you for more than the cost of the mats themselves. I'm sure you kind of figured that already though. I'll try and get some pics up this weekend
