so i have a snapped stud on the rear disc on my sol. is as simple as using the 32mm socket to take a nut off and pull the hub out and then have a new stud pressed in?

edit: also would the toe out cause excessive tread wear? i had an alighnment and was told the toe needed to be adjusted. would that have caused tire wear?

yes. they said only the toe needed adjusting since it was way out. but wouldn't camber be the cause of excessive tire wear on the inside out?

If your toe is at zero and you just have negative camber you can avoid excessive wear by rotating your tires often, but with a lot of toe, it is gonna cause the rubber to wear a whole lot fast and come off in little chunks instead of just an even wear. I don't even know if that makes sense

well thats what I thought at first since it's showing some wire, but the tread is almost bald from the inside out. those tires are only 6 months old i have 2 more ordered but want to make sure if it was a toe out problem that its fixed and not wear out two more tires. i do have an easy hand width between the tire and fender. I also had cheap coilover sleeves on it but now have 10K omnipowers up front. thanks lane for input.

yeh marsh, they are gone. dont worry I havent driven on them in a while. I had to do a omni master clutch and slave cylinder replacement when I noticed the tires. plus tags are expired anyways i'm driving my jeep till the tires come in and i can have them put on the rims before i drive it again.

w/ slips, you should be fine. i had the some of my tire tucked and i didnt roll. but it will rub for the first few weeks while the tire gives you a free fender roll
