well i haven't driven it about a week in a half, been driving the del sol cuz i kinda miss it
not being able to spend money on it is boring
if the sol comes with those bride then i might consider it

You think so? I loved my DC. I wish I didn't have to sell it. My fav. out of all the cars I owned (Sol, EK Hatch, EG Hatch, EK Sedan)

i do like it but right now it's boring to me bc i'm not really doing anything to it. maybe that will change once i get to spend a lil bit of money on it

And the good thing about it is that DC's have a lot of things you can buy for it so the combinations are more fun unlike the Sol.

I was laughing with my friends earlier how much money this/our cars costs us in bullshit stuff..I changed the timing belt 5 months ago cause i was worried about this happening and sure enough,it pops anyways. Hell just when it got stolen it cost me 800 to get it back..thats an easy 2-3 months carnote for an s2k lets say..

I love my car as much as anyone else loves theirs,but this week im working 70 hours to be able to afford anything that might have broken with the motor/my trip to cali/the regular old bills and when I think about working 70 hours in one week for a 93 honda,it just straight up pisses me off in a sense </TD></TR></TABLE>
Been dying to get 16s forever since 15s might be too small...(but might have to settle for them soon)
I wish the TEs I had were in 16s as well, or even the wheels I have now
cause they would look better, tire choice/price would be better, and if i want to sell, value would be higher...

I have a plan to get around all that and still have the usb and start button
Basically if you wanted to keep the fan and ac button, you could just relocate/"tuck" them, which I would've done if I needed them
I might be willing to do it all for u if you sent me all the stuff so its pretty much plug and play when you get it back

Definitely hear what you're saying about working your *** off and dumping all your money into a 10+ year old car
But I can't really think of another car I would want that I could afford
Del sol is the perfect platform for me and don't think building or having another car would give me what I get from the del sol

Maybe you should've gotten an aftermarket belt so you won't have to switch it again lol
nah..it should hold up

I also feel for you as I've had my share of bad luck with my del sol as well
As frustrating as it has made me and all the money it has sucked out of my wallet/account
I've never thought about getting rid of it for a number of reasons, but the main one is I already invested too much and don't want to a. waste/lose that money by selling/parting (never get what I want back) b. waste MORE money into a new project...

Yeah i know. and its just a SOHC at that. Wouldnt look to horrible if it were laying frame. different bumper would help too.

its probably water cooled.

im thinking it has a direct port water injection system. it helps cool the whole setup simultaneously

AFTERNOON ******


so anyone wanting anything off of my car that's also attending eibach bring $$$....official partout to more regular DD starts then

main parts looking to get rid of:
-JDM headlights w/ bulbs
-ameripol
-wheels
-trunk/wing combo

just uploaded another/better video I have of the button during the day (for sasha )

notice how I reached for the key first before I pushed the start button lol
guess I got to get used to it

and heres my temporary substitute until i can find/get seat heater switches

also got the edm headlight adjuster by the ebrake handle, where it should go


Just thought of a great idea after talking to sasha...

Hooking up the fan controls to this switch...
it would be perfect
the fan speeds would correspond to the different levels of adjustment
thinking about putting back my blower just for that lol
