del Sol thread v 2.0!
haha.. these are the only seats I had left so I had to roll them. I have to sit in buckets, it feels too weird without them so once I found some Brides I'll be happy.
I am looking for the blue zig-zag carpet if anyone sees some for sale.

Its a street car, those who know me, know that I drive the **** out of my car, I'm not scared to take it to the street races, I take it to the track, and what not, shaving the bay just didnt seem practical, I mean what happens when I launch the **** out of my car? What would happen at the track or canyons, doesn't the car flex? Would I see cracks over a period of time? Its a car, and it is going to be used as a car, all that shaving and tucking etc just seems dumb...</TD></TR></TABLE>
Apparently (and this is based what I've gathered from the shave/tuck thread) if you use bondo (or something similar) to smoothen out the bay it will crack if it isn't a show car. Furthermore if you WELD the holes (i.e. using tiny pieces of metal) it shouldn't crack.
Aesthetically I have to confess that I'm fan. But I don't think I'll ever do something that excessive. At least not while I only have one del Sol.
Group Threads? Wow!
On a random note,... I just came back from the local football derby (football = soccer, derby pronounced dArby = big game) and it was INSANE!
65,000 fans...
beating our cross town rival 4-0...
Priceless!
I'll post a youtube link once their up so you can all see what the crowds are like here.

mugen-k, I'll see what I can find regarding the auto window roll up stuff.
And I'm loving having the Sol running again. Though the stiff-*** clutch is a pain driving around town sometimes. But for the most part, it rocks.
foam, is the blue Sol yours? Is it the same black one, just painted?

Here ya go mugen-k, my notes from when I installed my power window roll-up stuff:
When wiring a power window roll-up module, do not wire it to the wires in the driver's door. Initially I installed my module in the driver's door, and tapped into the wires at the switch. This will not work, because the signals go from the switch to the factory power window control unit, and then back to the motor.
So you must wire the module to the wires going from the OEM power window control unit to the motors.
I have a simple two-windows-in-one-direction module, so I just wired it to roll up the windows when I arm the car. To do this, you cut the two wires that give +12 volts when the windows are going up. These happen to be blue with a yellow stripe (the one in the larger plug with more wires) for the passenger side window and blue with a red stripe for the driver side window. Once those wires are cut, the left motor wire from the window module will go to motor side of the cut blue/red wire, while the left switch wire from the module goes to the control unit side of the cut blue/red wire. It's the same thing for the right side, except you use the blue/yellow wire.
If you're wiring windows to go down, you'd use the blue/white wire for the driver's side window and blue/green for the passenger side window.
To make the rear window go up, you'd use the red/yellow wire. To make it go down, you'd use the red/blue wire.
Before you cut anything however, test the wires yourself with a voltmeter to be sure!
As far as hooking up the remaining wires on the window module, you can used one of the black ground wires from the OEM power window control unit for your module's ground. For +12v, you'll need to find a constant +12v source that provides enough power and tap into it. Be sure to use an inline fuse! I used the same +12v source that I used for my alarm.
As far as the activation wire, my module only had one, and I hooked it up to my grounded-when-armed output on my alarm. This way, when my alarm is armed, the activation wire gets ground and tells the module to roll up the windows. Some modules, like the DEI 530t that allows windows to go in both directions, will have multiple activation wires.
That's about all I have to say. If you've got questions, feel free to reply and I'll try to answer as best as I can. Thanks to SolBlu's Helpful Del Sol Site for some of the information. The wiring diagrams I found there were correct for my '93 Del Sol S, but when you're doing this, be sure to test all wires yourself!

So yesterday I went to the paint shop to get a quote for the sol and I just missed them by 15 mins FTL! Tomorow is going to rain P.O.P 100% so work will be cancelled, so I'll try again tomorow, my buddy knows the owner so hopefully I can get a hook- up *crosses fingers*
EDIT: Ownage, here are some pics of the dstuning since someone asked about them, IMHO it was worth every penny!

and here's a pic of my best friends cabbie on 17's which now has blacked out fogs, and a reiger lip
