great touch up for th engine bay
specially for samba sols cause they green will match
or if you just want to keep celebrate st patty's day with green
green is very jdm, cause just look at what color the jdm HAMP filters are

You could always live in Florida and have an ocean, and a lower chance of someone stealing your car. I've never been to Cali, I've always wanted to visit.

So i just did a little test and posted out in the car specific forums, turns out posting there adds to your post count, but posting in here, nothing. Hmm......

That looks really good but like Macho said shaved reflectors would be great with the bumper guards.

Actually almost anything shaved is better....

thats depressing
does HT usually do stuff like this?
guess they want to encourage and focus more of the tech side of HT
rather than just apperance/cosmetic and the marketplace...

so over break I changed things up a bit...

my old set up with my apexi slim tach on the a-pillar

wasn't the worst but not the best set up I guess
obv not a lot of fans of tach/gauges specially on the a-pillar
but if there had to be a tach there, at least it was a clean modest install was how most people include myself felt...
and my other justification was it was functional

but now...where did it go?

not there anymore?

took it off the a-pillar and moved it to the steering column:

thought this set up would be ideal for the track since its right in front of my face
plus i found myself looking at the stock tach most of the time anyways

but like i said, ONLY for the track
cause thats where all that really matter and the driver should be focusing on is rpms and could/should care less about speed
also the shift light is aimed right for my eye, and even on the brightest day i can't/won't miss it...
and no getting confused/distracted with 2 tachs
this set up/position is pretty much what most pro drag cars have anyways (right in front) so figured it wasn't a bad idea to copy..

and for normal/daily driving, I will take it off (easy to disconnect and just by switching the steering column top cover to another stock one)
and will look look stock/clean/not ricey most of the time

(and so i can show off my cluster at meets/shows etc )

i thought it was a good change/comprimise/upgrade/improvement in set up

true about jasma being carb

but the jasma plate/stamp usually means its a quality jdm header nonetheless

my dad's old HKS header said jasma as well (but don't think it said HKS anywhere)

the mugen headers do come with mugen power stamp along with the jasma to make it easy to tell/confirm...

whats a good deal?

[/QUOTE]

a bezel would definitely be a good idea

if i did it, i'd want to make it so I could put back my oem del sol cluster back as well if i wanted easily without too much hassle
not sure why i would go back, but just like to make mods that aren't too hard to revert or replace
might be a possibility to just try it if i found a cheap enough deal on the cluster/plugs/sensors so that it would be worth a try...

Florida is like the Arizona of the Southeast. Aside from a couple places, it's all old people and tourists. Seriously, we have Scottsdale to party in, Florida has South Beach. We have the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Patagonia, and Sunrise and Florida has Orlando, Kissimee, Daytona, and Pensacola. It's like you bastards are trying to copy us or something
