Shift linkage Stabilizer bar fell while driving on the HWY. DAmn this was along *** night

 

Finally figured out what's wrong with my H22. I destroyed my exhaust camshaft, cam key, and cam gear, so hopefully replacing those few components fixes my car.

I had a type r style lip on my sol
You can tell a type r style from an em1 lip pretty easy
Its kinda "flared out" at the corners more

not about the damage
but finally figureing out the problem
and possibly having the beast back on the road again

how did you destroy an entire camshaft
did you just open the VC and see the damage?

i did some "studying" of the lips
so i don't make a mistake again
even made flash cards LOL...JK
its clear to tell the difference now after finally taking a looking at them closely and comparing them for the first time...

No HIN for me either this year
they effed up bad last year and don't deserve any support (from boston anyways)
sold a bunch of spots to vendors so no room for cars
(HIN was a car show last time i checked right?)
people that drove from a couple hundred of miles away were told to just go home
not even sure how many people got refunds
people probably ended up just using the 2 free wrist bands they got to checked out the "show" since they came from so far...

I just destroyed the end of it, where it connects to the cam gear. Apparently when my exhaust cam bolt backed itself out and was dragging against the valve cover, the drag damaged the camshaft end, key, and cam gear. I'll take a pic tomorrow so you can get a better idea of what happened.
