Do you have any self serve washes with a wand and power washer? Those are always open in my area no matter what time of year. (watch out for ice)

hge's in the socal section. the reason(S) he wants no less than 500 for them is:
-he got them 3 years ago when they were still 600 a set(DUMBASS)
-revalved every year for road race(should be considered part of maintence IMO....do people charge 20K for an EF civic because they did all the required maintence on it? NO)
And IMO funniest of all:
-they were on a winnign honda challenge car 04, 05 and 06

guess I'll just buy new ones for like 450

the springs I plan on using are RSR race down springs
508lbs in front 290 rear woith about a 1.5-2" drop

or if I can finde them the neuspeed race springs slightly stiffer and lower drop

Sounds good but thats a pretty big mismatch in spring rate from the front to rear. Got a sway bar out back?

The other night I had a dream that I had a del Sol. It was a Milano Red '93-'95 and it had horrible angel eye headlights. All I did was get it home (hadn't even driven it there...) and when I looked at it that night someone had smashed out the rear window.

Then I woke up because the alarm went off.

Later that day a customer came in with a ricey blue '94. He told me it was an S, but I honestly couldn't tell you yet (the seats were S seats or '96-'97 seats though - they looked like Eran's '96-'97 seats actually, maybe a bit paler). It had a body kit (very aggressive and had a hole that was poorly patched in the rear fiberglass bumper. The corners of the bumper were hanging off. It was on white 17" Revos and had driver's rear quarter panel damage and when I got him to pop the hood, the engine he though was stock (and fast) was a non-VTEC D15B which had recently had it's oil cap left off.

It also had massive camber wear, especially in the front, even though he didn't know if it'd bee n lowered. The coils were red... thats' all I could tell you.

He was upset that his girl had recently curbed one of his wheels. The car is currently registered under his girl's name because he has a DUI and cars in his name aren't supposed to be on the road.

I told him if he wants to get rid of it to tell me. I figured it would be cheap and I'd want it back to stock anyway. I think I talked him out of bolting a monster tach to the dash. He also mentioned putting gauges on the passenger A-pillar. It runs and it has a decent frame, though it has a little bit of damage on that rear quarter and has a big ding on the back of the trunk.

Oh, and he removed the auxiliary lights because he thinks it will help it cool better (even though he never had cooling issues).

He also showed me on him registration where he says it weighs only 1620. I explained to him that del Sols aren't light cars, but he really thought that scale weight was right. Oh, and A/C has been removed. I saw a plug up there behind the driver's headlight that came from a main harness. I assume this could be A/C.

When I first started talking to him he said he wanted to keep it. By the time I left, he said he wasn't sure if he wanted to keep it much longer.

I see this poor car and just want to save it.
