Lets see...

12,800 euro to buy it used.
3,300 euro for JDM front end & paint + rust removal.
1750 euro for a "new" engine.

Equates to a grand total of 17,850 euro or $25,134USD and it runs like ****.

So yeah I'd pay $35k for a brand new one. All it needs is a Kseries, 17inch Type R wheels, brakes, and suspension and I'm off to the dealer tomorrow!

Did anyone go to the add options section of the delorean oage?

It says high performance engine- 197hp

Are they using a k-series perhaps? That would still suck however.

Default oem skirt

Hey guys... I'm new at this so I'm sorry, but iv'e got a question.

Would the 92-95 eg civic hatch or coupe oem side skirts and splash guards bolt right onto the del sol?

I'm asking cuz i bought my sol a couple of months ago and ive been converting it slowly to non- rice ( i only bought it for the engine mostly cuz the mods are too crazy for my taste). But any info would be great.
Thanks guys

The side skirts will definitely not fit on the del sol, the side skirts on a del sol are huge. That means the front mud flaps will not fit either however, the rear mud flaps may fit somewhat, they won't fit good but I bet they will go on the car.

EDIT for OWnage: A recent member who sol'd out like myself. CW-R Hatchback's new car. I know a couple of you met him at IA. I think.

ok.. so i have a nother noob question to add to the list.. i just noticed today that when i hit a bumb theres something that rattles.. same metal on metal rattling that i hear when rev past 2k rpms.. i was thinkin that was the rod bearing.. but i shut off the sol on a hill and coasted down and every time i hti a bumb i could hear it ratlle.. Deff not rod bearings anymore.. i crawl under it and look finding that my A/C comperssor belt pully has lost the clutch on it and is half off the compsser.. i no longer have the belt bc thecompessor seized up.. i just cut belt and left all the A/C parts in there.. but now im thinking its time ti remove the A/C once and for all.. how do i go about SAFLY discharging the charged lines?? i know if that stuff gets in your lungs it freezes the lungs. and i die.. not good.. so any help on removein A/c compenets?? who needs A/C when the top comes off and windows go down?

I still have yet to find a car. So I have my dads ek hatch work car 211k miles FTW! for the time being. He can't drive since he just got heart bypass surgery.

I'm leaning towards a legacy wagon still, can't wait to go to the UP as soon as it starts to snow.
