and the funny thing is most of the things he lists as bad I consider to be good for my plans anyways:
softtop removed fully
AC removed fully(might suck in summer)
No cruise
windshield washer system removed(I can count on 1 hand the entire amount of times I've used it on any of my cars my entire 6 times of driving)
I don't really care about the mismatched hard top

It is a salvage title though and some of the other things wrong with it are not exactly cheap fixes(shocks, alignment) if he's serious I was thinking about asking for 1K on top of my car at the 4500 price(he's asking 4K OBO)

yea those blox HSL cam hold all the power at the top end .. the vtec hits at 6500 now .. the red line is where vtec was set at 5800 and then dipped

but yea broke tuner, i would be really iffy about the salvage title, and the alignment might be a result of why its salvaged?

That happend to me once. I was racing a sleeper Toyota Avensis from light to light, got raped hard, but somewhere during that go the pipe disconnected. Before our second go at the next light I hear this heavy bass exhaust and I'm like "WTF someone joined in". I look around to see whats making this nice noise, but theres no other car in sight.


We rev before the next go, and thats when I figure it out. The guy in the Toyota freaked out - thought I had some kind of bypass valve in the exhaust. Well the next go saw Jasmine winning.

Weird! The numbers are definetly good, but 6500rpm for VTEC? Sounds a bit extreme...

 

Still rockin' the stock hubs though, so its not too terribly sexy yet

 

I think I'm going to bump boost up to 12/13 lbs today. there is a meet at the end of the week with a dyno, 300 whp sounds good to me.

last time on the dyno, 266whp and 254 ft lbs



going to suck trying to do street tuning because I have no traction in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd as it is.
