Do it, with the right offset those wheels would look killer.

lol dammit i'm really thinking now

every set of wheels are custom made for each application and the b45's go from 5 to 12 inch widths

Sooooooo what would be the right offset for 16 by 9 to get this kinda effect

I know theres a video on youtube of that car that gives the complete wheel specs

any one have it on their favorites

Edit: found it 16 by 9 offset 25

215/35/16

The rims definetly look like crap on the Monaro's but then again all those old Monaros look like crap by default.

IF you're going to go deep dish, you have to slam it. Otherwise it will not look right.

BTW the offset on that red German Sol is +15 if I'm not mistaken. Theres a video of it on YouTube somewhere.

16x9inch rim with 215 or 225/30/16 tires I believe.

Yeah, your going to have slam the car, and run little tires. but, it will look awesome

edit: i have no idea how those wheels are fitting on that car. they should be rubbing all the time.

A lot of people are running 15x8 0 offset sportmax wheels. The kind sarge has but, 0 offset. And those are a stuggle to get to fit inside the fenders. I can't imagine a 9 inch wheel fitting anywhere close on a del sol. Be prepared to run tons of camber whatever you do.

The wheels look the same, and the plate is custom. His SN is Sollo. SO11O is probably his new custom plate. I'm not sure though.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Aushonda &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Does anyone know of a guide to the euro wheel stretch on a honda? lol</TD></TR></TABLE>

Stretching tires is not a good thing. Well at least not to that extent. When you stretch a wheel that much, the inner part of the wheel starts to arch upwards away from the road (or inwards towards the rim) which is also where the majority of your traction lies.

Now heres the trick. Professional tire shops (and not tire supermarkets) should know of certain brands of tires that have flexible tire walls that permit wheel stretching. There is ofcourse a limit. Sollo's car exceeds the limit BY FAR. 215 tire is intended for a 7,5 inch wide wheel. 215's can be stretched just fine on a 8 inch wide with no issues whats so ever.

I hope this helps.
