I just got a S model cluster I think? (redlines at 6500) and it has the gas light. I'm thinking the gas light won't work because my original didn't come with one. Am I right?

94, I probably don't have the little sensor or whatever it is in my gas tank to let my cluster know that it's low on gas. Oh well, it's more fun driving on E not knowing when it will die

I sold my wheels and the guy offered to give me a cluster as well so I was like sure. I'm customizing a cluster so I was hoping it was a Si but I guess I'll just customize my Si and have the S in the car.

what exactly are you customizing? if you don't mind me asking...
and luckily my 95 came with the light and power locks and a trunk latch which is a first cause i've always had 94's

and Tim the integra will hopefully become alot faster in the months to come....when my mom told me i could have the sol finally i just had to do it...i miss'd it...

 

Yeah, guys i'm going ot IA too. We will have a bigger turn out that Eibach, they arn't as cool as us.

lol he should 'customize' the odometer to read 1 mile less than that one toolbag in MN with 30xxx miles on his car or whatever, just to drive him crazy about the last drive he took

lol i finally finished converting my 94 to a 95 the other day by installing the trunk latch. now i have the gas light, updated seals, trunk latch, power mirrors, power locks, and someone took out the seatbelt light to make a vtec light, which is actually pretty tasteful the next project is to see if i can make all 3 of the window switches automatic down like the driver one

how longf did it take you to do the trunk cable/latch install

 

not long at all. the latch at the trunk already had the neccecary hookup, and it was easy to run the cable once the lox boxes and the trunk interior was removed. the only lame part is i cant lock my gas cover anymore, because the lock cylinders arent interchangeable between the latch lever dealios

sounds like a worthwhile investment for me to do....especially since my fuel release is fubard.

I'm sure if you wanted to you could take the original with the key cylinder in it and the new one to a stealership and have them swap them out

 

but is it worth the 3 gazillion dollars they would charge? lol no, a tank of gas dosent cost that much........... yet

 

so i just scored an xbox 360...gona go play rainbow 6 vegas for now till i get my hands on forza after work tom.

LOL true....guess you could just buy a new cylinder with the new handles and take it to a locksmith, give them your current key and say make it work. that is if you really wanted it....I've never locked mine since having the car LOL
