rex are you running 195 55 on those phantoms? im running 205 50 and thinking about 195 55 to just get a bit more height. im scraping almost everywhere i go

 

195-55 and 205-50 are the same height

 

are they really? i know they are the same diameter but does the 195 55 give it more sidewall?

 

195-55 is 55% of 195 and 205-50 is 50% of 205.. it equals out to about the same..

the only difference being the 205 is a little wider.. but as far as your car sits.. itll sit the same.. just look meatier

i wouldnt put any more meat then 205-50 on a 15 on our little db1's

 

i see more and more db1s around my town now , i think the db1s looks better than da's db1s have more of a vip cool status look but da's still look hot, ima take more pics of the db1 tomorrow at the mountains

 

ya i just got done searching and the 195 55 has a bit more sidewall. im going to be getting those next time up. i hate scraping everywhere but at the same time i dont wanna raise it up. lol any lil height i can get will help. even tho its not a super big difference but just as long as my life is easier when i drive my db1 around.

put some new rims on.. drove down the street.. car took a ****.. had to push it home..

yup those are the ones.. i pulled some strings and borrowed money from my girl to get those rims.. then the stupid throwout bearing spring broke or something cause my clutch has no tension.. the pedal is on the ground

man you must've pulled those strings extra hard cuz you were wanting those bad. i was gonna lend you some money to help you out. yeah i'm actually off this wednesday. im going to solar to switch the faces on my betas. the +25 faces are peeling bad and so damien's gonna change them for me. i'll call you up.

basically just driving down the street.. and the clutch pedal sunk to the floor
i have to drop the tranny to see whats wrong.. but my axles are pretty much ****.. so once i pull those out they arent going back in.. so i gotta wait till i get paid to pick up some axles.. so hopefully i have it running by the weekend or so.. i have a show next month
