maybe someone can help me out here i know DAP only came for hatches 96-00 but is 96-98 a little bit darker than 99-00 or is the canadian DAP brigher than usdm cuz i found out my ek is canadian and my dap is a has brighter tone than other dap's and my car has never been painted

Does anyone that has a DAP civic done a shaved bay or engine wire tuck , I am currently doing mine and wanted to see if anyone else had.

I thought about it. shave/tuck, but mine is all stock and plan to keep it that way. Its just a work car/gas saver.

^ wow i love the wheel color combo...i've never seen this combo before looks great...just wondering if your ek is repainted because the paint is flawless...
im still thinking about it..i really dont think getting some hx rims powder coated is well worth the money...i think im just going to spray white again myself...ill post pics when im done

in the UK alot of people follow the usual jdm trend and try to go usdm
i wanted something a little different and took a risk
wheels are a special order set of te37's in the blue unsure what blue it is but i like them!
car its self has had the likes of front and rear bumpers painted(with the change)
the pictures makes the paint work look better than it is tbh just had all the dents pulled today and going for a detail/ paintwork correction tommrow!

hey you guys i guess i found the right thread i have a 97 DAP cx with a full 99 00 jdm frontend conversion lights ambers fenders side markers and all with a legit real si grill...
now give me your honest opinion i plan on keeping it stock with even going backwards to 97 spec ek4 with the bumper molding im a purest i dont know but i've been getting alot of crap from friends for wanting to do this but i think the 99-00 front end or si look alike hatch doesnt look as good as a DAP with ek4 molding???
a little input would be nice thanks.

i say go with the 96-98 look with sir bumpers.. my last dap hatch i had a SI front end but it was a 99. not a conversion.. but nowww im a much bigger fan of the 96-98, just looks better imo.
