well if my car isn't dead (doing some tests on it today) or if the repairs aren't a lot hopefully getting some 1pc's and eventually get some tires for my ssr integral a2's. and than hopefully go find some skirts and rear lip at the junk yard.

to you then, took my car out of the garage, cause i finally installed some more parts lol

used some carbon fiber

Yes as for the bent rod, nope. I've snapped rods, never saw one bent. It does sound like you have a spun bearing though, if your engine was hydro locked you wouldn't get to drive it or turn it on. Your best route would be to get an engine rebuild kit. If you're comfortable, just pickup a Haynes/Chilton manual buy the kit, and tools and get to work. Depending on how bad your knock is you may have already damaged your cylinder walls. A machine shop can sometimes fix this or you may need another block. Quicker route, just go to a junk yard and pick up an engine that has a gurantee and just swap yours out. Best of luck man.
Just pull the head and find out already! It doesn't take more than an hour to get that sucker off, then you can inspect the cylinder walls and check for most other conditions as well. Actually, have you tried a compression test? Look up youtube videos of spun bearings and bent rods and you'll have something for comparison.

I also got an offer to trade my car for a 00 gsr now i know its not a DA but it would be pretty nice. I have not seen the car yet hopefully ill get some pics tonight and then we will see. SO WHAT DO U GUYS THINK
i think that is pretty tempting the 00 USDM front end looks better than 94 but i think if you were to get one JDM front end for sure. i was always looking into dc with jdm front end but than realized i didn't have the money for that and now my engine is gone =[
personally, i like the 94-97 fronts better. mostly because everyone is so obsessed with having the 98-00 front end that to me, its played out. plus, i honestly like the 94 front end look a lot better. and as much as i do love the jdm front end, its rather played out these days as well. just my .02
