I am rocking a Victor X manifold on my DA as well and it does not sit as close to my Master Cylinder Reserve (like yours does) and rocking a b20vtec (b16 head as well). Other than Good stuff on a boosted LSvtec

Obviously, I was going too fast.
I had a three point Sparco/Sabelt harness. The left lap belt was bolted to the chassis where the stock lap belt was. The right lap belt was mounted to the tab they provided on my Sparco seat base. The shoulder belt is the most important. Since there is only one place you need to mount the belt with a three point harness, I mounted it to the the C-pillar, where the rear passenger seatbelt mounts.
You can kinda see it in this pic:

Mounting the harness like this makes a harness bar obsolete, because the belts are mounted above your shoulders, thus preventing any potential spinal compression. I was able to walk away from my accident with ZERO back pain.

Putting a harness in a car without a harness bar all depends on how you mount the harness. There are ways to make it safe. However, the whole thing about using a harness with no roll bar is a different story. If your car were to be in a severe rollover, you would be strapped in and your body wouldn't be able to move out of the way of the collapsing roof. Your neck would go bye bye. The B pillar of a car is designed to prevent this, but in a severe case of rollover, having a harness with no roll bar can be dangerous. I planned on getting a roll bar before I totaled my car.

Ummmm. Sounds like my accident
Who knows how bad off I would've been if my harness hadn't been mounted properly...?
