I am rocking a Victor X manifold on my DA as well and it does not sit as close to my Master Cylinder Reserve (like yours does) and rocking a b20vtec (b16 head as well). Other than Good stuff on a boosted LSvtec

HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL NO.

I've had those MOMOs since 2000. They used to be on my CB7 Accord and the thieves left them on the car. Too much history.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 1200 Hobos &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Hey Knowledge, how fast where you going when the accident happend and how did you install your harness? </TD></TR></TABLE>

Obviously, I was going too fast.

I had a three point Sparco/Sabelt harness. The left lap belt was bolted to the chassis where the stock lap belt was. The right lap belt was mounted to the tab they provided on my Sparco seat base. The shoulder belt is the most important. Since there is only one place you need to mount the belt with a three point harness, I mounted it to the the C-pillar, where the rear passenger seatbelt mounts.

You can kinda see it in this pic:

Like this:

Mounting the harness like this makes a harness bar obsolete, because the belts are mounted above your shoulders, thus preventing any potential spinal compression. I was able to walk away from my accident with ZERO back pain.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 1200 Hobos &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I want to know if what people have been saying about harnesses without rollbars or harness bars is infact unsafe</TD></TR></TABLE>

Putting a harness in a car without a harness bar all depends on how you mount the harness. There are ways to make it safe. However, the whole thing about using a harness with no roll bar is a different story. If your car were to be in a severe rollover, you would be strapped in and your body wouldn't be able to move out of the way of the collapsing roof. Your neck would go bye bye. The B pillar of a car is designed to prevent this, but in a severe case of rollover, having a harness with no roll bar can be dangerous. I planned on getting a roll bar before I totaled my car.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 1200 Hobos &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Would they really infact crush and pull you down in an accident? I just can't see that happening unless the accident is really really, really severe like a head on collision with another car going just as fast as you where, then maybe, what do you guys think?</TD></TR></TABLE>

Ummmm. Sounds like my accident

Who knows how bad off I would've been if my harness hadn't been mounted properly...?
