My car is driven daily, and has gone on numerous long distance road trips. I also ride lower than the average car. I've yet to have any leaking or blown shock problems. They ride great imo!

Daily driving for you is different from daily driving for me. I have no idea about the quality of D2 suspension, but who knows if they can take the mangled streets in the city of Los Angeles on a daily basis without blowing or leaking?

Whether D2 suspension is great or not, I wouldn't buy any of the generic race style coilovers. I'd rather ride on off the shelf adjustable shocks and sleeve coilovers.

quoted for truth. Tein are way overpriced and the quality isnt what it should be.
I'll tell you the owner of D2 for North America rocks D2s on his G35.
Thats why we don't live in New Zealand.

Thank you. So are the rest of the one piece coilover systems that come from japan, they're only a status symbol here. Then comes D2 and k-sport copying those (tein) guys.

Nah, tein was never top-notch. Top-notch stuff performs and proves itself. No reason to hate on geniune good product.

I doubt that... And D2 aren't top notch anyway.

Let people hate. Honda-Tech isn't there when you're behind the wheel of your car (except for those douchebags that post on H-T from their cell phones.)

See. theres your problem..

you care too much of what people think. I think thats many peoples problems on here. Who cares. build your car for what you like. if someone doesn't like it.. simply tell them to get fucked

As much as I agree with that. Its not that simple.

EVERYONE in the world cares about what people think about them. I don't care who you are. Its impossible to do something without thinking "I wonder what "x" is going to think about this"

I'm a firm believer in doing what you want, and expletive everyone else, but its easier said than done.

That being said. expletive everyone else, I do what I want

I know for a fact that one of the sales reps for NZ distributor of D2 personally has Tein Flex in his company car.Now what does that tell you?

I don't get how all of you are saying D2's are expensive, they retail here for around NZ$1200-$1300 (and I can get them for around $750 at trade). If you're willing to spend that much on an average set of coilovers you may aswell spend a bit little more and get some Tein Flex's or even just some Super Streets(even though they aren't body adjustable) and the ride will be that much better.

At the moment I'm tossing up between getting D2's ($750+$400 for certification)for my DA or just going EF3 shocks ($250)+ Tein Springs(200).Will definitely be getting a set of D2's for my drift pig Cefiro though

/opinion</TD></TR></TABLE> Don't do it mang hit the ripple strips sideways and the bottom of the struts break on D2's. They are seriously weak. But perhaps you should consider importing them to the US, some of these halfwits are all over them lol Edit here http://www.nissansilvia.co.nz/...roken

do u really do that? i've always wondered how people get pics of their cars while the cars are under construction, but in the pics, they look complete. i see that in honda-tuning a lot. expletive that magazine, btw.

please dont do that. dont tell me what u think my problem is. i dont care what they think. i just notice how a new set of coilovers come out every other month, and when they do, everyone LOVES them. then when the next batch comes out....everyone says the originals are junk/overrated.

maybe i should have put "overrated" in quotes....i dont think Teins are overrated. or Volks. but im suggesting that eventually thats what they'll be saying.
