heheh, at least you have something else to drive
I've got a question guys.
I just took out my gay *** indiglo gauges, so i'm back to stock, but i'm having trouble with the infamous speedo cable.
Take the cluster out wasnt hard, I just unplugged the cable from the tranny, got a bit of slack, and was good.
But with putting it back I cant seem to get much slack out of it, whats the best way to get it back connected to the cluster?
Also, what kind of lube should I use to relube the cable, I figure I might as well do that while i'm at it.

The easiest way would be to unplug the speedo from the tranny to give you some slack. But don't just yank the speedo out take it out like you're not trying to break it.

Re: (hb420)
heres my main issue,
You know how theres that little plug that is attached to the end of the speedo, and clips on to the gauge cluster? That whole thing slipped off the cable, now i'm trying to get it back on.
I disconnected the cable from the tranny, but I dont have much slack, how much should the cable come in?
