MY bone stock 90 CRX SI:
It runs fine, Ive driven it on 300 mile trips with no problems, burns a little oil but what 17 year old car doesnt.
The problem is, when starting it, on random occurences it will idle and right away die. But some days it starts up right away first try. I have tryed to associate this with temperatures and any other conditions I can think of and nothing, just random times. Put simply its like starting your car and immediately turning the ignition off. The only things I can think of/and am replacing tomorrow are the fuel filter and dizzy. It has new plugs as of 2 weeks ago. Im trying to get a TPS and IAC. Anybody ever have this problem on any of their cars?

i'll try to help you out.. check those 2 you were saying tps and iac. but also check your main relay (doesn't really seem like it would be... but i'm leaning more towards the tps)

Cheers man.Suspension wise I just had some shortened KYB shocks and some rather low Jamex springs.Sat around 90mm off the ground (chassis).

Now I just have a pretty much stock Taffetta white JDM DA9 with matte black dc2 rims (fat fives),going to install some Jamex Superlows in the next couple weeks,then going to do some cheapy extractors through my work and make my own exhaust (2 1/4" press bent pipe with 2 resonators and an N1 style muffler.

Then getting the new alarm installed,and the search will be on for a decent b16a2 head to be freshened up and slapped on the b18a block,and then tuned with CROME.

can someone tell me why my fog fuse keeps blowing out? the fogs work for like 30 min then the fuse blows

 

Check the wiring and make sure the correct size fuse is being used.

I swapped out the stock 35w stanly for 55w SIlverstars and its still fine.

 

its correct, its the 10A fuse for the fog lights and i checked the wiring so many times and i have sylvania 55 watt bulbs in it. im stumped and mad that i cant show my cool yellow fogs lol

Uh, I really dont know man. maybe a ground or short somewhere.

But if you checked your wires then there shouldnt be.
