Yea but new stuff sometimes comes defective, for instance thermostats. I think those are the most common new oem part that is often defective.
Sounds like an easy fix somewhere, if all else fails, jack the car up, turn it on and wait for it to leak.

Who cares about sounding like a noob, we all have questions that someone else knows the answer too.</TD></TR></TABLE>

+1 for bad thermos.... happens all the time lol

Dude I recently picked up a Mishimoto rad and slim fan from Kteller for under $200 shipped. This radiator is great and looks just as quality as all the other $400 ones on the market. Check them out.

At the track I guess you mean road racing. Whats your setup look like? What EMS are you running?

Going to be running stock ecu for now, but I want to upgrade to OBD1 in the very near future with some good tuning along with cams. Is the radiator you have aluminum? that's pretty cheap if it is, along with the slim fan. I'm getting my helmet next week! so i can't wait to get ready for the track, and yes road racing

I'm not a huge road racer and I don't know the rules but are there any against running hondata, chrome, etc? Are you looking into that kind of management?
Yes the rad is aluminum and the welds, etc are very nice on it.

The best way to figure that out is figure out a class you can run in competitively (or not if you don't mind losing all the time) and contact their rule book. SCCA and NASA both post these online, though they might take an inkling of searching to come across. for track days

I figured out my cooling problem, just my clamp wasn't tight after i put on my hose, careless mistake, and also i never said i had "nice" wheels, i just have a set of rims that are imitations that i got for free, but i would like to put them on because there are better tire options in 15 which would better suit me for the track. there goes brice again taking a hit at me for no apparent reason, and have you seen how many cars just got stolen in my area? search stolen and look at all the cars stolen in so cal within the past weeks.....

there goes matt again, hatin on people for not being exactly like him. god forbid people just wanna drive their street cars at the drag strip to see what it does.

So, matt, how does your car do at the track? any idea?

it probably does 17 seconds in quarter mile and i think my sisters automatic DA b18b swapped is faster than my car, my car is slow, I'm not hatin on him for not being like me, all i asked is what happens after the 1/4th mile, whats wrong with asking that?
