you could could probly try to run you so high test gas(89,93) in it if you dont already i really dont have a clue on what it could be

 

It was definitely bad gas. I ran some SeaFoam through it. No more sputtering. I will NEVER buy gas from BP, Exxon or any gas station that is owned by a grocery store, ever again. Ever.

If your car is a 99-00, all you can get is round ones.

You can degree your cams, do some bolt ons, and do simple tune ups.

 

alright well im not a huge motor head so idk i swapped the trans made a diff but i guess i could do a basic tune up and the degree the "cam"??? explain...i was thinkin i could put a soch zc cam in it to maybe wake it up

 

Degree the cam is just bumping the timing up alittle bit. To much and you'll blow your motor because of pre ignition. I would go with a bisimoto cam if you really wanna wake up your motor.

 

adjust it from the dizzy or get a adjustable cam gear

 

That's mostly what the adjustable cam gear is for. Honda tuning did a full feature on it this month if you wanna read everything about it.

Over 2 is too much. If you want reliability along with some improvement, just do 1 degree. 2 can push it if your pushing your car.

 

haha and alright sounds good and sometimes i have to push it...it only makes 70hp on a good day haha

 

run it through once in awhile, i put like 1/3 to 1/2 into the gas tank then run the rest through the brake booster vacume line into the engine

 

so im probly goin with a swap i just gotta wait till my buddy gets his z6 swap and i get his d15b7 but...i gotta but rings in it and im deff probly gonna put a vtec head on it...but yea hows everyone and their ride comin along...holler

96-98 you have a choice between square ones (I'm getting these in yellow) or circle ones. On 99-00 they only have the outside circle fogs.

 

Give or take 2 months and I'll be rolling again. Got 600, need at least 1200 to rebuild or swap the d for a d. Sad but I'm so ready for my car back.
