Can someone point me in the right direction, I changed the waterpump/tensioner/belt on my jdm d15b vtec and Im not sure if I have the motor mechanically timed.
I set the crank gear pulley to the pointer on the oil pump which puts piston 1 at tdc, However Im not sure how to set the cam pulley?? do I set the horizontal tdc marks to the two triangles marked P08 on the timing belt back cover OR do I set the one tdc mark to the pointer at the bottom of the timing belt back cover???

Ive been searching and couldnt pinpoint how to because some think it should be set like a d15z1 and some think its d16z6??? Right about now I would love to look at a jdm or european FSM specific for d15b vtec!?!!

motor is jdm d15b vtec obd1.
heres a pic, i colored the cam pulleys 3 tdc marks in white. and the triangles on the corners of the timing belt back cover-->

Mm no I didn't post in the wrong thread lol, I guess it wasn't too clear I was in a rush, last time I posted posted pics and stuff so I was jus tryna post something in here so I can be active or w/e so I was saying what I did and as far as the channel run thing going, I am just making an assumption that most the people in here have civics since its a sohc only group and that channel run is a pretty common eg civic issue, and I can't search very fast on my phone. My bad for the confusion lol

O... Your going to have to repost because you were like, can I join and I told you to read the first page and repost and you never did, so.... Read the first page and repost. Maybe we can help. It's kinda hard to help someone if they don't help you.

I have the same problem with my ej8...really suck's for drive threws. So far its looking like buying a new one from honda for 180 or risking pulling off a bad one at a junkyard.

What all do you have to do for a wire tuck just remove the fenders and re route the wirese just inside the fenders? I'm a welder and have access to a welding machine to fill in the holes.
