Its just my DD right now but I plan to start building a boosted set up for my single cam (not the B7)

hey squad i been gone for a while.....this summer i want to paint my car and get some jline sdmsl2 wheels....what color do you guys think i should paint it?

 

I would leave it the same color. Get the rims in chrome with exteneded neo lugs, you'll be fine.

its been almost a week since the civic flooded and now the mildew smell is taking over, time for a cage, and a nice turbo set up, lol, the smell is so bad i literally douched the carpet with a bottle of febreze it didnt even put a dent in the smell after a day

 

picked up a used jdm front end yesterday for the crx got alot of work to do on the hood to make it flush

I want the headlights on the civic that's on the cover of the new super street those are some clean headlights!

 

havent really been out to the garage in a while, hopefully soon i'll get pics. just in the middle of trying to get a new job

 

I picked up a 3 bolt mount I need to get installed but its fawking raining!

Oh well I guess I can polishing it before putting it in.

why not the b7 if i may ask? as long as u have a good tune ull be ok how does the a6 cam feel in the b7 dont u need a adjustible cam gear?

So I've got the best gf ever!

Its our 2 year anniversary this Saturday and she got me!

 

A6 cam and Y7 cam gear and you don't need to do any adjusting.

I've heard tons of people saying to use the a6 cam for a little extra get up and go.

I haven't thrown it on any dyno but I can tell after 3k it picks up a little speed a lot quicker then it used to.

 

That's whats up. I wish I had a girlfriend like that.

And I've never really cared about changing stock cam for another stock cam. Just seems a bit counter productive... After you do all the work, could of just found a used skunk2 one for just alittle bit more and it would be way better. But, it's your car and no hate here. Just saying.

 

Ya my cam was free so it didn't matter to me.

and they make skunk 2 cams for B7's?

 

Found this and a A6 cam is has a little more of everything.

D16a6: lift= 420in/410ex duration 274/260
d15b7: lift= 385in/310ex duration 250/240

 

The a's are open alot more than I thought. lol...
