so can i get in on this? heres my coupe
and a couple pics of my motor which is a d16y7 out of a 97 hatch, its got the z6 intake, injectors, and all of my obd1 components(starter, alt, etc), its running off of a p06 ecu. i built the entire motor myself, and i couldnt be happier. 35+ mpg is awesome

sorry, its a vtec valve cover off of the z6 that the car came with, it overheated and cooked the rings and either popped the headgasket or cracked the head idk. but i started with a shortblock(y7), then rebuilt it using an ebay rebuild kit, i did use an oem headgasket, along with a rebuilt y7 head off of ebay.
to answer the questions, its just a vtec valve cover lol.
i want the plain one that just says honda on it... if anyones got one!

Glad to see the ricers of America took over the SOHC Squad, I love the D16, but would never claim membership in this club of trash. Get real, almost every vehicle in the thread is complete junk with a stock D16. I dont even think I saw one well thought out turbo set-up, you should all sell your Honda's and buy VW's to give them a bad name instead. This is not opinion SOHC Squad=Garbage.

Why does a D-series have to be boosted? Why can't it be N/A? I have shared with others that my car is rice. I know that. I will be de-ricing it soon. And did you just look at the first page then type something in? If you want to disgrace the SOHC squad, read every single post, and post a pic of your car. I'm tired of people disgracing the SOHC squad because they think there better. Go take your rambling somewhere else. Geez, get a life.

If we were being "brandy", then why would we still have a D16 instead of a B-series, since they're the big thing now? Trendy? Really? How can having a slow a$$ civic be trendy? I haven't logged on to Honda-tech and found "post your slow cars here because it's cool" thread. I can care less of you build Obama's D17, but you are the biggest f***ing D-bag ever. So go back to D-series and don't come back if you don't like this.

First off, Im an *** clown and should learn to read because I obviosuly never did. I really cant speak out against the SOHC, and i have a small **** so instead to make myself feel less inadeqaute, I was calling your squad ****. Im a hypocrit and talk down on SOHC's consistently because they make a lot of power under boost (something my broke *** could never afford), and even if I could I cant even come close to 200whp NA build because i cant even change my own sparkplugs. I like the D16 and still currently have one, but because im a hater, calling your cars **** with stock F22's or D16's and some pep boys wheels is really jus a subconcious reflection of how I really feel about myself . I like the Bisimoto comment, but im confused cuz i've obviously never heard of him due to me being an ignorant dumba**, *and even tho I might have been a member of D-series.org since 2006*, i am a d-bag and should GTFO. I'm sure I was jocking D-series builds long before I ever had my Focus, and I'm sure I'll be jocking on them long after I finish my bid here in the county. I would never talk down on a SOHC they consistently make a lot power under boost, and can even come close to 200whp NA. I like the D16 and still currently have one, but calling your car cool with a stock F22 or D16 and some pep boys wheels isn't the way to be.
